Katy joined Lay & Wheeler in early 2016 after working at the startups onefinestay and US-based Lot18. Prior to completing an MBA at Harvard Business School, she studied cheese for a year in Italy as a Fulbright Scholar. She recently completed the WSET Level 4 Diploma programme.

David’s  passion for fine wine began at Chatsworth House where he was butler to the 11th Duke of Devonshire and Deborah Mitford, the then Duchess and their family. Having served wine to people such as Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales, he took this excellent apprenticeship to London where he began a 24 year career in both retail and direct wine sales. Having sold wines in Spain, Italy, Germany, China, Hong Kong and South Africa, he joined Lay & Wheeler in the spring of 2016 to head up the sales and customer service teams.
